Hi, and thank you for visiting my blog! I am Sarah - and I love cakes - baking, decorating, and eating of course! I have always enjoyed baking and sharing sweet treats with family and friends. Sam's Firetruck Cake

For Sam's birthday his mom wanted a firetruck cake. Sam's favorite color is yellow, so I was asked to make his firetruck yellow. I started by creating the truck out of cake & frosted all the pieces together, cut, and then designed (with my husband's help). Next I made the bottom layer of cake - both were buttercream yellow. This cake required some minor 'engineering' skills, so I was happy to have my husband around. It was a fun cake to make!
